Import a CV and fix upload problems

Upload one PDF up to 10 MB, wait for scanning and processing, then check the imported CV.

Prepare the file

CV import accepts one PDF file up to 10 MB. Export Word or other document formats to PDF first. Use a readable file with selectable text where possible, and open it locally to check that it contains your complete CV.

Upload your CV only. Do not upload passports, residence permits, health records or other restricted documents.

Import and check

  1. Open CV, choose Upload CV and select your PDF.
  2. Choose Compact CV for a shorter starting layout or Full CV to adjust the layout yourself. Both keep the original PDF and imported content; neither removes text automatically or guarantees a page count.
  3. Choose Process CV. The editable CV will not reproduce the original PDF design.
  4. Wait for the security scan and CV processing to finish. A successful scan only means the file passed that check; it does not verify the accuracy of its contents.
  5. When processing opens the editable CV, check names, dates, section order, experience and skills, and correct any missing or misplaced text before using it for applications.

If it does not work

For a format or size error, export a new PDF within the limit and select it again. If the file is flagged as unsafe, do not try to bypass the scan; check the original file and create a clean copy.

If the scan does not complete, keep the error message and contact support. If processing finishes with incomplete text, try a clearer PDF or correct the CV in the editor. For a repeated failure, contact Help support with the error message and the step that failed. Do not paste your CV into the support request.
